Counsels From The Word of Righteousness (Part 1).

Dearly Beloved Saints,

The following inspired thoughts were born while ruminating around the word of righteousness.

1. The measure to which we are awake to God’s righteousness; even via the preaching and keeping of the gospel of Christ, is the measure to which we would become unresponsive to sin (unrighteousness); and to that degree would we be able to deny sin (this world), until doing so becomes a natural delight (1Cor. 15:34, 1Jn. 5:27, Ps. 119:47).

2. The degree to which the eyes of our heart has been empowered by the revelations of Christ, is the degree to which we can take our eyes off ourselves, men and things, and journey through formations in Christ that peaks at Charity (1Tim. 1:5, 2Pet. 1:5-7). To that degree can we also begin to truly comprehend the things of God; even eternal life (1Jn. 5:20).

3. While laboring to see the end of this world; even the futility and misery of its hope, we would have to consistently disagree with what the natural man calls hope or defines as life (future). Thereby can we disown the thoughts and imaginations that stream from it; even plastic values or worldly ambitions that we share in common with carnal men (1Cor. 10:11, 2Cor. 10:5).

4. The measure of Christ (or of God’s power) that a believer has or can give to men, is the measure of (the lusts of) this world he has been separated from, or that he has overcome (Rom. 8:35, Jam. 1:14). The measure of God (or eternal life) that a believer/minister has or can give to men, is the measure to which he has been separated from death or has become irresponsive to Satan (Rom. 8:37, Rev. 12:11).

5. There is a measure of enlightenment (around the milk of the word) called repentance from dead works, that should see a believer being able to despise this world, but it would take the enlightenment around the meat of the word (i.e. Christ), to be enlightened to a place where he can overcome it (Heb. 6:1, 1 Jhn. 5:4). It would also take the full revelations of God’s righteousness that streams from the strong meat of the word, to overcome the god of this world (Heb. 5:14, 1Jn. 5:18).

6. There is nothing the Lord Jesus can do at some seasons, to get some believers to embrace His present speakings or visitations to the Church (Gen. 28:16). Some have been carnally ‘graced’ to rather itemize what they believe about it, and would rather hold unto something less (Isa. 4:1). Some believers would only be eventually provoked unto righteousness and reconsider their stand, when others begin to bear the fruit of the Lord’s visitations; when God’s grace and glory become evidently manifest among others (Hos. 4:17, Lk. 19:44, Ps. 84:11).
