Looking Inward & Outward (with the goggle of Faith) – Part 8

1. 2 things are too painful for me, yea the 3rd is unbelievable. A believer that knows not the emphasis of the Spirit for his generation. The use of worldly souls as role models in the Church. Parents who go through so much to raise their kids, only to hand them over to the world (Ps. 49:20).

2. The strength and seductive power of this world is in its promise, which it offers to men whose eyes haven’t been enlightened and to those who gravitate towards its pull for an adventure! It promises men stature, status and success without process; without Christ and thereby deceived all men (1Jn. 5:19, Rev. 12:9).

3. When God is trying our hearts, He wants us to see what He sees about us – so we can know that we aren’t really whom we think we are, and that we need grace to live in His sight (Deu. 8:2-3, Hos. 6:2).

4. The speed of sin is as the speed of any thought that has gone through the process of conception, while the speed of Christ’s Faith is as the speed of any revealed righteousness that springs out of God, and therefore always defeats sin.

5. We all married the world at different times and to different degrees, and we won’t respond to the empowerment called Christ at the same time or through the same experiences. Our season of coming into grace and glory would therefore differ, and would be a function of our response to the gospel (Rom. 13:12, Ps. 84:11, Rom. 5:2).

6. Before the Lord would bring natural additions or carnal blessings to a believer who is being ushered into the economy of the New Testament, He always checks how it fits into His program to save their souls or make them spiritual (Ps. 74:12, 1Pet 1:9).

7. Most believers began with the milk faith (towards God), but are all instructed by the epistles to contend and strive for no other faith than the Faith of the gospel; which is the Faith that is in (within) Christ Jesus; the Faith of eternal life; the Faith of God’s elect or the faith of the Son that has a common denominator: it overcomes the world (Jude 1:3, Phil. 1:27, Acts 26:18, Tit. 1:1, Gal. 2:20, 1Jn. 5:4).

8. If the Lord can’t reveal our deep seated fears and insecurities to us, then they would continue to lie dormant in us. And if they aren’t dealt with on time, they would show up at some very vulnerable and costly hour of our lives.

9. When the Lord is exposing an a weakness of our souls to us, He wants us to deal with it; even by the commandments that governs it. When they escape being exposed and dealt with, they would someday end up dealing with us.

10. When a believer lives in and out of season, and faces no reaction from the enemy, it’s most likely because he hasn’t grown as he ought or he is yet to have a commensurate walk in the Spirit that is against the course of this world.

Blessings!
