AN APPRAISAL ON THE ART OF LOSING CONTROL & GAINING CONTROL

Dearly beloved,

It is always amazing to know that a believer, however long he has been identified with the Christian faith or how anointed with gifts he is, cannot actually trust in God or have God put His trust in him – as long as he is still in possession what Jesus calls of “His Life” (Jn. 12:25). The patriarchs for example could only trust in the revelations of God’s name that was unveiled to them (Exo. 6:3), but these weren’t adequate to disposes them of what they inherited from Adam or give them the originality of God’s life. It therefore took the delivery of better substances and of a better hope of God’s Faith to roll back the curtains of imperfection that lingered for generations (Heb. 7:19/11:40)

  • Ps. 9:10 And they that know thy name (the new nature Jesus later inherited from the father, meant to be accessed by His many sons) will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee (those who through trials and tribulations would gain entrance into that new name/nature)
  • Heb. 2:12-13 Saying, I will declare thy name (i.e. the nature/authority/inheritance of the Father – Rev. 14:1/2:17) unto my brethren (i.e. those who have been sanctified by Christ’s Faith {Heb. 2:11/Acts. 28:16e} and prepared for the fellowship of divine love), in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

So any believer that hasn’t been led contrary to his known and unknown love as typified in Father Abraham life, cannot truly trust in God or be trusted by God. Trusting God is synonymous to disowning every definition of life that proceeds from the lips and hearts of carnal Christians and from century old definitions that has been promoted by the wisdom of this world. To trust in God is to be equipped with the definitions of divine life that Jesus received from his Father over decades, and the response of the godhead to this is to put their trust in such believing believers (Heb. 2:11-13)

  • 1Jn. 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ (i.e. they started by receiving access into the fellowship of faith/divine life of the Son {Jn. 14:21} but journeyed until they accessed the love/divine nature of the Father {Jn. 14:23})

Nothing captivates or harnesses the strength of the soul for pursuits of all kinds like a well painted hope! The hope of the gospel guarantees godliness with great gain (God’s faith/divine life) – with no strings attached. The hope of this world promises gain (a pseudo abundance that a soul can’t truly own) with strings attached. Freedom from the hope of this world is by seeing (Rom. 8:24/1Jn. 1:1c) the hope of the gospel, which is a function of hearing the conversations of the Faith of the Son (Rom. 10:17/1Jn. 1:1b).

  • 1Tim. 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
  • 1Tim. 6:6-7 But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing (tangible or intangible things) into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

The promise of abundance (gain without contentment) has troubled generations of believers, ministers and ministries like nothing else! It has denied the Lord from reaping sons over generations and the antidote to this activity of the anti-Christ spirit within and without the church is by a conscious surrender to Truth (Jn. 8:32/1Tim. 6:5).
Jn. 1:12 But as many as received him (His Faith), to them gave he power (root word – privilege) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (i.e. the divine life/faith nature that caused him to overcome the world)

This generation of believers is privileged under heaven to live in days when heaven is promoting their Faith –a divine empowerment meant to teach us “how to lose control of our lives” so that “God can gain control of it” and ultimately use it for His glory. We must redeem this great opportunity by receiving the discipline of the Son (Heb. 12:5-7) so we can be prepared to ultimately access the Father’s fellowship

Blessings!
